BMD & Partners is a Jakarta-based law firm, with core businesses in banking/finance, capital markets, commercial/corporate, commercial litigation, and project. The firm was founded in 2000 and is reinvented as from 2006.

As for our practice’s vision, we do not say ‘No’ to general practice. Nonetheless, we cement the core knowledge and skills of the laws, both in theory and practice. Different with other firms, a fast growth in firm size as they typically promise will not be our main goal. Instead, we choose to become a boutique firm. Whereas, quality and speed of intelligent services are at our peak stake. Whereas, expertise and excellence shall collaborate.
One may say big clients choose lawyers from a big firm. Yet, we believe a boutique firm is able to deliver a more personalized service for the client’s needs without reducing the necessary quality. In that sense the size wise is totally irrelevant. In some circumstances, clients simply seek the individual expertise or a particular group of specialists they trust due to a good track of excellent works.
Further, one may insist arguing that a group of few lawyers has a limit due to the size of labor at work. But, we at all times are well placed to achieving legally and commercially sound solutions of high quality, as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
